Three people have been killed and no fewer than nine people sustained injuries in the most recent Ukrainian strike on the Russian frontier area of Belgorod, according to regional authorities.

The fatalities occurred after an attack on the community of Maslova Pristan during Wednesday morning, authorities reported. First responders were continuing to search for people suspected to be buried under rubble.

It is the third consecutive day that Ukraine has targeted the territory, resulting in many individuals experiencing blackouts and no fewer than two additional individuals dead.

Multiple Strikes Result in Destruction

A sequence of Wednesday missile and drone strikes damaged homes, transportation and energy systems in various areas of Belgorod, according to government communications.

Sources published pictures from the area depicting a athletic facility with its building components demolished, and stated that response teams were cleaning up rubble and evaluating the destruction.
